Orchard Hill Farm
Just down the road from The Lady Mary Inn you’ll find Orchard Hill Farm.
A classic 19th century colonial situated on five acres of colorful flower gardens and vivid green plantings. Past the greenhouse you will find an expansive vegetable garden next to a small meadow with fruit trees. The adjacent Great Works River and a small serene pond add to the beauty, and this abundance of nature provides an ever-changing opportunity for exploration and activity.
A Natural Playground
Song birds swoop and soar among the stands of trees. Our boxers, Vivien and Clark, tire themselves endlessly racing after squirrels and chipmunks; while the geese, ducks, and honeybees add to the semblance of chaotic order.
Orchard Farm is a working farm. From the first asparagus in the spring to the the last frost-kissed parsnip in the winter and year-round lettuce, something is always growing. The more than two dozen fruit trees - including apples, peaches, pears, plums, apricots, and cherries — offer a sweet harvest for pies, jams, and jellies.
Come stay at The Lady Mary Inn and experience the farm.
